Just Twitter searched "Terry Collins" and am watching the hate roll in.

The Grady Little comparisons are out in full force.

The Mets could have had Sparky Anderson, Whitey Herzog and Tony La Russa co-manage this team and KC still would have won. It was just their year.

They may turn this into a clown pound.

Only mistake Collins made was keeping him in for Hosmer. The agreement should have been you're out if a runner gets on.

The funny thing is before this year or lucky run new yorkers and the media there said Collins wasn't a good manager. I actually do agree with them. There's nothing special about him. A lot of managers can succeed with that staff.

Royals fans should just enjoy it because finances will destruct that core in the future. Not that there's a lot of big names on that roster. I suppose you can do the billy beane type method and succeed. I mean they don't win pretty. They play small, intellectual ball. You can find guys like that around. Now bullpens are a crapshoot and are hard to sustain.
