i'm part of a WJC pool on the international board.
i know this board isn't all that high volume but thought i'd toss the idea out there in case there were any takers because it might be fun.
i think these things work best if there are at least 8-10 gms (so including me it would be 7 to 9 of you being interested)
the rules would be we each draft 5 forwards, 3-dmen, and 1 goalie.
it would be a snake draft
the scoring system would be:
Skaters
Goal = 1 Point
Assist = 1 Point
Goalies
Win = 2 Points
Shutout = 2 Points (In addition to win)
the timing of the draft (whether people just come & pick or whether time limits are imposed) would depend on interest.
I expect to be either in Toronto or otherwise internet accessible until the end of the WJC tournie so don't mind administering it.
If you're interested let me know (by responding to the thread). There's no huge rush but keep in mind the tournament starts on Boxing Day - so if there's interest we need to start the draft sooner rather than later.
