Leafs dont need more Clarksons. He is a phoney, more about projecting the idea of being this gritty workhorse than actually being one. If you watch him he makes ineffective plays driven by emotion that often leave him behind, working as a detriment to the line.

Would pick a guy like Bodie over Clarkson any day of the week. You need to have some speed and moderate IQ to be effective in the NHL, Clarkson showed a 4th tweener level outside of the devils system.

Glad to have Komarov back and guessing he brings the same workhorse check finishing attitude he did with the leafs 2 years ago.

The leafs biggest problem is not a single work horse in the top 6 or top pairing

Most of these guys are hard workers. Some might work harder then others but being a pro athlete require a lot of hard work.

Plays heavy minutes, carries the team, skates at a ridiculous pace. Kessel works insanely hard on the ice.
