I hate to say it, because he wasn't BAD, but the Penguins needed Fleury to be better. Greiss made a couple of HUGE saves. The Pens didn't get any of those. They needed one.
I don't, not anymore. Hope I'm wrong.Does anyone on earth this team can win a Championship?
I'm not an X's and O's guy, but it seemed like we were just getting worked systematically. Even when we had 87 and co. out there and they were playing with energy, maintaining any sort of sustained O-zone pressure was just impossible tonight.
At least Sid got a point I suppose.
Even with this roster, we still had enough personnel where by we could have won tonight.Stiegy and errey with the Malkin is hurt excuse subtlety thrown out there at the end lol gotta love it
2-4-1 over the last seven games...
I thought Gibbons had a good game also. He's definitely been a positive.Bingo.
Only positive.
Pens couldn't get in on the forecheck at all from the half way point on.
Bylsma can't even coach a team to stay onside anymore.

Of course it's great coaching. Tippett is miles better than Disco.Phoenix was really smart.
They pressured the Penguins D men (both of them) in a way teams rarely do. Strong forecheck. Great coaching from them.
