not unusual. Even the NHL has had to poke a few players to talk after a lose. How often have you heard "Player X is getting treatment and will made available later for press availability."

Sabrina Ionescu was throwing up during one timeout. She’s often the one people want to interview. I can imagine the Liberty taking the hit for that.

Why not? Answering questions after games (win or lose) is part of a professional player's job. If a player is unwilling to do all aspects of the job, they should seek another career.
