August Gunnarsson and Fredrik Forsberg are among the top scorers in J20, they should also be given a look. Filip Karlsson is having a really bad year stat-wise.

The team is lacking centers a bit. Maybe I would put Kempe as 2nd line C. And maybe insert Forsberg to the line up instead of perhaps Filip Karlsson. The guy has silly amount of offensive tools.

And I would probably put Andreas Englund - Adam Ollas Mattsson as a 3rd pairing. They are a good shut down pairing with good chemistry from Djurgarden J20.

Kylington - R. Andersson

Aho - M. Pettersson

Englund - Ollas Mattsson

Lagesson
E. Johansson
Forsling

M. Pettersson haven't impressed me that much. But I guess he's got good chemistry with Aho, which is important in a short tourney.
We are definitely lacking right-handed defenders! Which makes me wonder how Adam Thilander would do in such a tourney...

I also liked Pierre Engwall quite a bit when I saw him play, he impressed me more than Anton Karlsson.

With the succes in Malmö and 1 million watching the game against Slovakia, SVT needs to broadcast this tournament. Why not in SVT24 or SVTplay? Only Swedens games of course. Cant demand more.

They did broadcast at least a few games from U18 WJC last year, or was it two years ago? So there is hope.
Where is the tournament held this year?

The hell they did.

Finland this year, Switzerland next year.

Could have been three or four years ago then, my memory aint what it used to be :) However im 100% sure I went to O'Learys sports bar to watch a U18 WJC game, and did so. And when i think about it, Im not sure it was SVT or some other of the swedish channels who broadcasted the games.

I watched it too. I think it was the 09/10 season.

Seems like a strong roster. Must be a record for Östergötland to have 4 players in a national team squad.

Glad to see 5 from Modo! But honestly, doesn't Timashov deserve a spot? Imo he should be a lock. Axel Holmström is injured. Really strong roster anyways.

Why doesn't Bagenda put up better numbers? He's looked great every time I've watched him play.

He doesn't always play PP and he's pretty inconsistent sometimes. His potential is huge though, rare mix of size and strength, impressive skating and really good hands + a booming shot. I really wish he was a little meaner sometimes, it would really benefit his style of play.

I think this team would give the U19 team a run, maybe even win 2 out of 3 games.

I have a question?
Does anyone of these guys have one unce of defense in their heads?
We saw in Hlinka that our defense was pretty bad, because our defense mens are playing in team where the almost never are set to test.
I know it´s boring to think defense, but without it, we can never win, just do god :(
To do greate we need defense.
