- Good offense (Korpikoski, Tukonen, Lindgren, Wirtanen, Sailio, Seitsonen, Lehtonen)
and I think we will see some
- Defensemen (Laakso, Korhonen, Jokinen)
elevating their game to championship level.
We haven't had a team this strong since 2002 in Nova Scotia.
That's really all that can be said right now. You really have to see how each is doing in the pre-tournament games through the first game or two of the tournament to really predict.
That being said, U.S. looks strong, Finland looks strong, Canada's always good.
the czech's are interesting to me----they could take a run or fall like a stone. If Malkin plays then you just can't count Russia out. He'd be the top player in the tourney or at least he should be.
