Why is that so scary. Its not like they have a picture of Stalin in their avatar or anything. Sure Lenin looked down on the working class a bit, but he respected them for what they were.

Lenin was a totalitarian ruler. believed in central control of the society.
Let'ts get past the murder and theft of property and such. He believed that the state was more important than the people that lived in the state. Lenin was the embodiment of the state and thus was at least as much in control of the state and its population as the monarchy that he replaced.
