Can’t remember what podcast I was listening to recently where a scout said that one thing that they want to gauge in interviews is what the prospect feels about hockey. Do they see it more as a job, do they like hockey? Do they love hockey? Yegor seems like he LOVES hockey. He is excited about talking about it at every chance he gets.

There are some great goals in here, but 2:48 is especially good. The kid loves a good celly too which is pretty fun. 1:19 is sick too, he broke a defender's ankle like it was nothing.

Yeah and he's got a bit in common with Mintyukov in that their playing for CHL teams before their draft and come from Russia/Belarus. To me this says they don't want to go back to the old country and are happier here.

This kids work ethic on and off the ice is amazing. Adapted so well to western culture and is so humble. Good vibes from him. Can’t wait to see what an nhl training camp does for him. He will soak it up like a sponge
