With Burke's departure, will players finally be able to pick their own #'s?

I hope the numbers change, but Gardsy better keep #51, it looks dirty. Kadri should try to get #91 or #19, 43 is the ugliest number any player on the Leafs has..

Is it bad that I associate #8 with Aki Berg?

I accidentally hit "report post". Almost went through with it, that name rouses awful memories.

Komisarek looks about as useless as Berg on many occasions. We should take #8 right off the table..

I really didn't care about the number thing with Burke (although I did feel it a pointless rule), but the thing I didn't like was that he didn't like any numbers higher than 29 for skaters unless they were rookies (then they get 40-59), but once Kessel came, all of a sudden he made an exception, and since he made an exception for him, he made an exception for Grabo. I don't get why you would start with the rule in the first place and then go back on it as soon as a star comes to town. Kessel could have been 18 I think. Ah well.
