To be honest, I think both players have 3rd line as ceiling.

We will see--this year is certainly Armia's time to shine, if ever. If he gets consistent top-9 time, I have predicted he would score 30+ points this year.
Would love to see one of our centres flanked by Armia and Laine.

I'd like that very much. Lemieux is one of my very favourite bottom 6 prospects.

But I voted Stanley again.

If you see him as bottom 6 only, does he really have much value? Real bottom 6 players can be acquired for mid round picks - they generally aren't high value assets.

Same and one is pretty well there already with solid PK showings to boot. I am hopeful that they can both become more, but I don't think it will happen - especially with how deep the system is.

Me too. I mean there are some that have a shot, but it's a very long one.

What is a 2nd pairing defender worth compared to a third line player? What about a 3rd pairing defender?

Yup. I see Roslo as becoming our future third line centre if things go well.

All depends but 2nd pairing dmen have more value to a team for me than third line players. Most likely the TOI is higher and more ST plus more impact on the game.

Probably on a contender. Maybe higher on some rosters at some times. Hopefully not top 6 any time soon with the Jets.

I would love to see Roslovic stick at centre next year.

I do see upside there and the Jets don't really have a Little replacement in the system. Pretty much just Petan and Roslovic. Gotta hope that there is top 6 talent in one of the two. Need two-way chops.

In my mind a 2nd pair D is more valuable than a 3rd line F. I wonder if there's statistical analysis you could do on that? (Hint, Hint).
