Helle and Hutch are on a normal development path for goalies.
Enstrom chose to stay in Sweden to develop rather than playing in the A.
Neither Postma nor Chiarot suddenly became top pair D at the age of 24. They followed a normal path for 3rd pair D. It takes them longer to arrive simply because they are not as good.

Genuine late bloomers are rare. They may have flown under the radar for a while but when you look you usually see that the evidence was there all along.

Real late bloomers I've found so far:
Craig Smith
Tyler Johnson

Both were terrible PCS players in first 2 draft-eligible seasons and turned into legit top-six NHL players.
