I have Kosmachuk (currently) above Lemieux.

Kosmachuk at 18 had a better ES pt/gp, better ES G, better % of team's total points in games played... and on top of it we saw Kosmachuk do as well as Lowry did last year on a worse team (albeit does not have the two-way game of Lowry).

Kosmo-Chuk...... Again

Nominate Phillips...... As he was only nominated for the Hobey Baker award in NCAA.
I figure if he is good enough to nominated for that he is probably good enough make the waiting list of our top 20 Jet prospects.

In the games I watched with the Ice Caps, Kosmo was the best player on the team (not including Hellebuyck, obviously). That includes Armia.

Lemieux. Still like Kosmachuk but have cooled on him since last season when I was really pumping his tires. I just think Lemieux is more likely to have an NHL career. It will be much easier for him to find and keep a 4th line **** disturber role, then it will be for Kossy to establish himself as a scoring winger.

Kosmo for me. I like everything since his draft day except for the first half of last season and that team sucked so there is a legit excuse. Solid prospect still IMO.

I think Kosmachuk is a solid prospect, and Lemieux has NHL potential, but I'm sticking with Kraskovsky.... maybe I'm just stubborn.

Agree with both posts here to some extent. But I do think Kosmo will be sliding into the third line at some point. Would be thrilled to have Lemieux as a legit fourth line option that can do more. So going with Kosmo here, Lemieux next.

Let's add Phillips - more goalie voodoo.

I think Spacek is going to be something special as well. He is so cerebral. I picked Lemieux because guys like him, when doing their job well, can change parts of the game favorably for other players on the team.

Add Karlstrom. Dark horse talent.

It's crazy how we are already at 13 and guys like Foley, Spacek, De Leo aren't even close. Ridiculously deep pool :D

Voted Kosmachuk.
Toss up between him and Lemieux for me. Gave it to him on the basis of his completed junior career and being further along in his development.

Add Glover.

I voted Kossy.

Also considered De Leo, Lemieux, Spacek and Foley.

Kossy carried his team's offense for his last two years of junior. DeLeo and Lemieux didn't - that is the biggest difference for me. I think Lemieux's scoring is largely a product of teammates and we know it came primarily on the powerplay. I like him as a prospect, but I am not confident he has top 6 upside yet.

I need to see more from the other two. A year of college for Foley and some CHL for Spacek will tell me a lot.

While I kind of agree with you (that Lemieux is more likely to make the NHL) I am not confident that Kossy can't be a similar **** disturber.

I also consider 4th line players to have next to zero value outside of the case of an extremely deep team (Kruger). Any glimmer of top 6 moves a player up my list. I mean, Thorburn and Kaleta are normal 4th liners. Players like this can be acquired for a 4th or 5th round pick - with zero chance of a bust.
