Alright guys, I'm back. Sorry for the **** formatting.

Huffer asked: Question about Josh's defensive game. We know he's not a huge guy. How is he at handling bigger forwards in front of his goal? And handling them down low? Does he primarily use his stick, and positioning, or is he at least strong enough to engage with most of them physically?

In front of the goal, he plays a lot like a 4 or 5 in basketball. He boxes out his opponent with superior positioning to get to rebounds and control the chances of a tip. Down low he generally doesn't get rag dolled, but against the big boys of the league, it's all he can do to pin guys against the boards. An area that needs improvement, but he's capable at worst.

GermanJetsFan asked: Do you watch Jets games sometimes? If you do, could you talk about what Josh and Enström share in their play and what is different about them?

Some here, involving myself, see Enström with more offensive and physical upside in him. Are they actually comparable or is this a wrong conclusion because of their visual similarities (the way they skate and QB a PP etc)? I have seen way too little of his game to actually say they are similar after all but on the highlight reels, they often look similar.

Unfortunately I don't watch a ton of Jets games, basically just those in which they play the Blackhawks. I do see a few similarities between them in my limited knowledge of Enström, though, primarily in the way that they skate and handle themselves defensively despite being on the smaller side of Dmen. Sorry I couldn't be of more help in answering this question, but I'm not going to pretend to know more about Enström than I do.

And I do agree a lot with BigTuna49's post in which he talks about Morrissey's skating ability and the cerebral manner in which he plays.

Any more questions are more than welcome! Including those about Draisaitl. Seriously, ask me about him. He is a goddamned man.

The sad thing is I don't think we'll have any shot at getting Draisaitl.

He could be there in the 6-11 range. Could being the operative word. I just desperately don't want him to go to some cesspool of a team like either of the Alberta teams or Nashville.

If things keep trending down for us we will likely be picking in that range.

Petan only two points in his last six games. Bittner with 5 in last 6 and Leipsic 7 in last 6.

From the scoresheet it looks like Portland has changed Petan's line mates. Does anyone follow Portland who can enlighten us?

Well Comrie managed to steal Hus team a point with a 46 save performance against Petan's team last night.

FWIW another writer (one who I usually like, but don't agree with here) has them ranked 20th. Oddly no mention of Lowry, Kosmachuk or Copp though.

Is Petan expected to join the Jets next season or will he be kept down in the juniors for another year? Seems like he doesn't have much to prove there with back to back seasons of 100+ pts. Then again he's a small kid and may not be ready for NHL yet.

I'm expecting him to be back in junior and then will likely get a year or two in the AHL.

It's all about physical readiness for him and whether he can handle the grind of playing 82 games against men. We all know he has the skill to handle this level and that he has nothing to prove anymore in juniors, but for him it's going to be about lower body strength and physical maturity. Of which I don't think will be fully developed by next year.

I really wish Petan was russian. then we could lend him to the KHL for a year instead of sending him back to junior.

I can see why he ranked it lower based on our lack of top end forwards (besides Petan), but I think he's underrating the depth. I can't understand his case for having a team like the Oilers being ranked higher. Even Pittsburgh is somewhat overrated because of the defensive depth they have, as they don't have much else. Overall there's quite a few teams that I question as being ranked above the Jets.

Good lord no

Never understood why the best development league in the world for NHL players has its detractors

Fact of the matter is he has a lot to do next season

Play for Team Canada and win a world junior championship
Try and get back to Memorial cup and win it.
Grow and gain strength
