The 2019 7th Rounder who was solid at Colgate the last few years
Considering the team he had in front of him, not really “MEH” stats.
Hoping he will back up Cossa or Toledo. We have the goaltender prospect we need them to make a jump fast.I imagine he'll start in Toledo next year.
He put the team on his back to get them into the playoffs last year... including beating the eventual national champs in the conference tournament. I'm all for keeping him in the system.Considering the team he had in front of him, not really “MEH” stats.
They are actually quite good.
I agreeGive Cossa a game in the show
Yeah, I don’t know if the kid has NHL upside or not, but I expect him to be a good pro. He should be solid organizational depth at least. He put the team on his back to get them into the playoffs last year... including beating the eventual national champs in the conference tournament. I'm all for keeping him in the system.
An NHL puck is about 6 ounces not sure why a goalie needs to be 220 lbs. As long as he is quick and strong his weight is a non issue imo...Just noticed his HockeyDB page has him listed at 6'4 165 lbs. I have a hard time believing that was ever accurate, or frankly that any high level athlete has ever had those measurements
I gotta think 6'4" 165 is like malnourished and lacking muscle though, lolAn NHL puck is about 6 ounces not sure why a goalie needs to be 220 lbs. As long as he is quick and strong his weight is a non issue imo...
This guy might be close....Just noticed his HockeyDB page has him listed at 6'4 165 lbs. I have a hard time believing that was ever accurate, or frankly that any high level athlete has ever had those measurements
thank god we finally have a gylander thread so we can talk about cossa. Man, it has been tiresome trying to figure out where to talk about cossa!Give Cossa a game in the show
Nothing, and I mean nothing says I haven't watched a prospect like posting career stats.
I was going to post this long thing debunking this, but it's not worth it. People like stats. Some people like watching their team's prospects. Some people don't like essayistic writing. Some people are a combo of all three, like me.Nothing, and I mean nothing says I haven't watched a prospect like posting career stats.
It also says, 'I don't know any of the context that exists around these stats, nor do I care to know.'Nothing, and I mean nothing says I haven't watched a prospect like posting career stats.
Why exactly? If you liked him last year, why wouldn't you like him this year? I can understand that some signings are more exciting than others. That will always be the case considering we have 50 contracts. I am also glad that he wanted to sign with us given he was close to free agency.I was going to post this long thing debunking this, but it's not worth it. People like stats. This is a meh signing. Doesn't move the needle. I would have more excited if we signed him after the play of his, last year.
