trading for POS like Graves, Marino, Vanecek are all that is wrong with this team. Getting garbage players from contenders, guys that only shined bc of system or their partner and thinking they gonna led this team without any support.

We all could basically see this coming. Ruff was def the favorite to be fired first this season. We need a different voice to see if it’s the players or the coach.

Making the change too late disadvantages Burnette and also the decision making process.

I think we need to let Daws cook more. We gave him enough last year.

Best case scenario is he can contribute to next year's team, as Blackwood is likely out and Vanecek is not looking to prove to be a starting caliber goalie. At least not a good one.

The glaring problem with Vanecek is while he was league average (and certainly looked fine to me, he hasn't in this game though) is he was still a negative in goals saved above expected in both of these two years he's been in the NHL. By about a -5 and -6 both years.

Much better than almost anybody that played here last year (other than Bernier) but probably not a starter.

Well naturally guys who shined because of a system are not going to shine here…because we have no system.

I don’t know if you realize this but that’s an indictment of the organization, not the players. Although the players are not nearly as good as our fans have hyped them up for years now.

This is a good point, because the 3rd-7th goalie options are often quite good. Also, average goalies don’t have single bad games. They are just average every game. I am very intelligent.
