Somewhere along the way, he quit playing hockey and decided his only job was to punch people. Not sure if it was Blash/Fester, or how he perceived his own worth in the NHL.
I hope he realizes an AHL enforcer still makes more money than a regular day job.
My first post was more tongue-in-cheek. It makes sense on paper. I know it doesn't tell the whole story but -21 in 19 games is terrible from Smith. On the flip side, O'Regan would be 3rd highest score on the Griffins.

Makes sense considering GR needs at least 5 goals a game to make up for the sub-pedestrian goaltending from Olkinuora and Brattstrom.
