After a Dispersal Draft allocating the talent from the folded teams .. Those players that lost their jobs as they are no longer good enough to call themselves NHLers, can find work in the AHL to strenghten it to make it better for prospect development.

The AHL would have to drop their rules about the number of vets AHL teams can have, or these players wouldn't be able to play there anyways.
Well I was thinking the ones that he AHL currently had could be sent to the ECHL to upgrade that leagues talent, and make room for the 5 new ones coming in from the NHL ..kingsfan said:The Messenger said:

If the NHL starts up again .. Then there is also all those scab jobs in Europe that NHLers filled last season .. Surely some of these players at least to return to play over seas

The Super League idea in Europe is alive and looking to improve. Teams got an education this year on how to run a pro team with high end players. There is a market over seas, look for it to thrive.
