I'm gonna take a chance and say yes. The Islanders are dogshit, Florida just isn't good this year and their goalies are pretty crap, and Washington is an old team lacking scoring depth that is hanging on by a thread. Buffalo has young, premier talent that is getting better each game and they're scoring at a league best rate. The key factors will be if they can keep their offense up and if the goaltending holds up, Craig Anderson is somehow defying age at the moment.
If they don't make the playoffs, they'll come very close, kinda like the '08 Hawks.
