Will Ovechkin finish in the top 10 in ESG?

Ovechkin is currently 15th in ESG with 26 games played with 9 ESG.

We all know that he will finish top 5 in PP goals but will he finish top 10 in ESG this year?

This post isn't going to age well as father time is obviously catching up to Ovechkin.

This can clearly be seen when you watch him play for any length of time this season.

The thing is, this has nothing to do with how you think Ovechkin may or may not be declining. It's that you created a poll questioning his ability to get in the top 10, when he is one single goal away from being tied for 8th in that very category.

That's why it's dumb.

Your logic doesn't work though as he is tied with 10 other players tied for 15th and one of them passed him tonight.

A simple yes or no response to the poll might have sufficed but a 26 game sample is pretty large here.

Let's check back later in the season and see if Ovechkin is faring any better shall we.

Nothing is guaranteed but i think he will. He had a quiet November with just 2 ESG, but in December or January he will raise his game.

Ovechkin has played mostly like doo doo and is still producing both goals and points. He will heat up and he'll very likely be in the top 5 of ESG.

Goals and goals created (since it is heavily weighted towards goals) is basically double counting but this thread is about ESG.

Goals are goals, you either score them or you don't, but I will answer the question; Ovechkin will finish top ten in even strength goals.
