With 3 helpers tonight, Kucherov is up to 22 assists in 16 games. This already places him in the top 20 all time, a postseason after he had 27 in 25 games, good enough for 5th most and only behind Gretzky and Lemieux.

Gretzky holds the mark of course with 31 in 19 games. He’s also second with 30 in 18. And third with 29 in 21.

If the Lightning advance, right now, they still have anywhere from 2-9 games left.

Will Kucherov get 10 more assists and have a record breaking 32 assists in a single postseason?

Very doable. Of course it will depend on how many games Tampa will play the rest of the way.

Town NHL hates !
I hope so. It's about time we get superstars the quality of Gretzky and Lemieux. 20+ years without anyone breaking their records it's a bit sad for the quality of the players.

If he advances, then at least 5 more games. Probably more like 7 win or lose. I say yes.
