But those two assists are for the GTG and GWG in game 7 of the SCF :sarcasm:

No... because then people couldn't rag on him...

They'd be both in round 1, and then goes scoreless through the next 3 rounds, hitting post after post... (Someone has to be the new Post Master now that Brodziak is gone... right?)

I come from the future. This is how Wild goal scoring looked like in 15-16:

Parise 34
Niederreiter 26
Pominville 24
Zucker 23
Vanek 21

Should we do some kind of point predictions thread as well? It's always fun to go back and see what people had guessing.

A place.
We should probably do those when there's only one or two exhibition games left before the season starts.

I tend to doubt Yeo is going to change his stripes to much, and give Nino and Zucker the minutes they probably need to replicate what they did last year.

Both will likely see significant drops in shooting percentage. Zucker staying healthy should help him keep 25 ish goals, because he's a volume shooter, id bet on Nino barely breaking 20.

Honestly I think Pominville hit more posts this past season than Brodziak. Watching every single game of Wild highlights has me confident Pominville will score 25 next year.

I think parise and zucker could be neck in neck this year. However I'll give the edge to parise until further evidence

If Zucker stays healthy and continues what he did last year I think he's got 30-35 in him

I hope you're right, although I'm more skeptical of Zucker getting 30+. While he was injured last season, his near 17% shooting is pretty unsustainable. If Yeo gives him top 6 minutes and PP time I think he can be a 25 goal guy. Which is not bad at all in my book.

I'm going safe and saying Parise with 32. I think he'll be the only 30 goal player, but we will have a logjam of mid-high 20's goal scorers in Poms(27), Nino(28), Vanek(26) & Zucker(24).

I am going to go out on a limb and make the bold prediction of Granlund hitting the double digits in goals(13)
