I have Lucia, Gilmour and Phillips on the same "tier". Hmm...

Lucia with 31 points in 40 games as a 20 year old in college; goal total improved between his 1st and 2nd year but only by 4 (played 8 additional games as well).

Phillips with 33 points in 76 games as a 21 year old in the AHL (on a bad AHL team)

Gilmour with 20 points in 40 games as a 19/20 year old in college; comparable production to Lucia's first year; hoping that BC throws together a Milano/Gilmour/Tuch line this year.

Staying with Phillips. Although somewhat disappointing thus far, the AHL is tougher comp than either of the other two face and Phillips should play with much, much more talent this year than last, so I expect a pretty severe uptick in his numbers. At least 50 points.

I'm buying into the Folin hype a bit. I think he's fairly close to NHL ready as a third pairing defenseman, and if he has a hard shot that he can get off quickly, he can be a weapon on the PP.

After that, I've got Lucia and Phillips roughly tied.

Guys, remember Anthony Hamburg, Colton Jobke, and Bjorn Krupp...?

Didn't think so.

Also, Nick Seeler really fell off the map. Haven't heard his name around here in a long time.

I saw him play against UND last season. Not very impressive. He was on their second pairing and seemed to be a power play specialist. Did not get much PK time at all. Even strength was so-so and his shooting could use a bit of work but overall it was okay.

I hope to see him + Peterson this fall when they are in Grand Forks.

The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was making us believe Bjorn Krupp and Eero Elo existed.

Oh and Lucia. Easily at this point.

Schroeder is not on the list. He's still technically a prospect by HF standards.

Also, add Gelinas.

Hamburg had an unimpressive USHL year, then went to RPI and has done nothing. I think I dropped him off my tracker.

Jobke was in the ECHL the last couple years but because he was such a long shot I dropped him off my tracker as well. I don't think he even played in Iowa last year.

Krupp just disappeared from the hockey world as far as I know.

If Lucia wasn't terribly exciting last year, it's even harder to get worked up over Seeler, Draeger, DeJong, Soucy, etc.

Krupp is playing in the DEL. Had a decent year (not horrible) last year.

TP, weren't you a pretty big Seeler fan at one point?

His draft year. I seen him quite a bit at EP and liked him. Haven't heard good things since he's been in Omaha.

I've been really impressed with Labbe though. Behind Dumba (for good and bad), I thought he was the player that stood out to me at the scrimmage. And the people that I talk to have been raving about him for a little while now.

Krupp is no longer associated with the Wild. They put him on unconditional waivers in order to terminate the contract last year.

Someone needs to tell Peter Prohaska - Krupp is still listed as a Wild prospect on HF.
