The Preds are struggling to score 5on5. With the man advantage, they are among the league leaders. Cumulatively, the team is t-18th in goals scored ... but that is only six goals behind t-10th ... a string of a couple good games. Reading the forum and blogs could lead one to believe that our offense is on par with Anaheim or Phily. The enigma that is Predators offensive production remains ... how can we have a PP that scores with such a dependence on the first unit, but somehow be so low in league standings for ES goal scoring?

For some reason our forwards have regressed this season, especially Wilson. Smith is still flirting with an 18 goal pace .. not what we've seen from him the past couple seasons but not sucking either. Pekka is another contextual paradox ... doing fairly well at ES, abysmal on the PK.
