All that accomplishes is:
- Lowers people's incentive to make higher effort posts for fear of being ridiculed
- Ruins newbies first impressions here
- Makes longer tenured members consider leaving. Already heard of 3 such people in the last week.

Just noticed an inordinate amount of hate lately all over. It was much cleaner when I joined 3 years ago.

Toxicity towards the team is understandable when things are not going well. I've seen a lot of personal attacks lately towards people who have contrasting opinions about the team though. Most people here are north of 30 and should be better than that.
