I'd just be horrified for Nashville if he's there for next season. I imagine they want to keep their options wide open for when all coaches are fired. But I think Gallant is the best fit for Nashville.

This is poile's 3rd coach, if I'm not mistaken. He may not have the free will to look at a 4th.

Many managers don't even get the opportunity to hire a 3rd one during their tenure.

So I think the end of the current coach could very well coincide with the end of the Poile era.
