That's the problem, as great defensively as he is/was, he was always 2nd best on his team in that regard.Zetterberg probably should have won the Selke at some point, but he had to compete against Datsyuk.
Forsberg the year he was +59?It's interesting but then again, I can't think of a Swedish forward who should've but didn't.
I've always felt like the Selke is awarded based on reputation to the same 3-5 guys every year. Never bought into it too much as an award.
Curious to see if a guy like Couturier gets into the mix this year.
