The good news, is this is a cheap easy fix at the deadline, I imagine. And it shows. "You get what you pay for" applies.

Feels like they're gonna have no choice but to cheat back a bit when the third pairing is out there until they can figure it out.Or lack thereof
Because, on top of them being in a funk we are missing the #1 goal tender, the back up is not 100% and 2 of the top 6 are injured long term. They have actually gutted out a lot of points they shouldnt have.In last night's postgame, I recall MM and Tripp repeatedly saying that we "gutted" this win out. My first thought is "Why the F are we having to 'gut out' wins with our roster". The again, when you're in a nasty little funk, everything is amplified, and nothing comes easy. Calgary is a good team but it's been a while since, it seems to me at least, that we really had to take an underdog mentality to break through. Either way, it worked last night.
Thats true, and its amazing what we can do without any goalies using 6 attackers!!Because, on top of them being in a funk we are missing the #1 goal tender, the back up is not 100% and 2 of the top 6 are injured long term. They have actually gutted out a lot of points they shouldnt have.
