Why do GMs always go for retread coaches? Case study: David Quinn

David Quinn is the worst head coach in the NHL and frankly successful head coaches are rarer than a blue moon in this league. Gorton thought he'd not go retread after two retreads and maybe he'll be a guy that helps the young kids, it's been a f***ing disaster and feels like 9 out of 10 new coaches are garbage. At least with retreads you know what you're getting.
