A lot of the trades proposed around here are wild video game trades that very rarely happen in real life. There is a human element to trading that the average fan doesn't know anything about. There are personal lives to consider, locker room leadership qualities to consider, time and development investments to consider, community obligations to consider, etc. Theres more to it than just saying "hey give us that thing and we'll give you this thing".
Why are NHL trades so complicated/disagreeable?
