Overall the top end is clearly lacking compared to the last two decades but there are a lot of similiary effective players(F Forsberg, Arvidsson, W Karlsson, Nylander and so on). As a Swede I hope EP can take the next step in the coming years, quite a few Swedes are "latebloomers" so who knows.

Raymond has a really high ceiling, so Pettersson and Raymond could be a very strong top 2 moving forward.

Yes. Very depressing. From 1996 to 2011 at least one Swedish player was in the conversation for the list of top 5 forwards most years.
Forsberg 1996-2006. Naslund 2001-2004, Zetterberg 2007-2009, Sedins 2009-2012.
