Who's going to the home opener?

I'll be in 222 Row L. Seat unknown at this time.

Edit: A warning to those who may be looking to StubHub. I just purchased the ticket above from a user now selling 1-6 tickets for 222/L for $34 each. This seller is using Ticketmaster to distribute. My ticket will not be available until 10/3 and I am obligated to establish a Ticketmaster account and download their app for ticket presentation at the game. I was not aware of these obligations until receiving a confirmation e-mail. This is the most convoluted process I've encountered on StubHub. I either have a physical ticket mailed or an electronic download within minutes.
Just so you know this is because the coyotes have gone to mobile tickets. So only option besides getting a hard copy ticket in the mail is this. The seller has no way to upload the ticket to stubhub like before. All listings that are mobile delivery are marked before you buy them.

I attend every home opener. The presentation interests me, and in recent years I figure that I might as well capitalize on my hype for the season before the team kills it.

Bought 6 front row* tickets for myself and family/gf. They all have birthdays in August/October, so I write off the expense based on that fact.

* Upper bowl. Heh.

In the past the mobile tickets have always been downloaded to my StubHub account and I access on my phone upon entry. Just wish this notice had indicated it would involve more work with Ticketmaster as well.

I think i'm about to purchase a flex package. I live in San Tan Valley so it seems the most reasonable. I would love to meet some of you guys.

I've met RR, sniper, give a flying puck, doaner, and I think very briefly tuxon pups, and no one has tried to slug me yet so I'm ok with meeting more people until that happens.

I have a pretty good left cross for an old guy! I hang out in 216 row B. Anyone near me?

SURPRISE!
Would anyone be interested into the possibility of splitting tickets? Or would a partial plan be better? PM if you'd be interested.

Sorry if this is the wrong area.

If you can't find anyone who wants to split, I'd look into the flex packs, they're a pretty cool idea.

I'll be there, we kept our seats...116/Q/1-2

Hey those were my seats two years ago!! Take good care of them.

I will be there again this year - didn't miss a game the past two years. Looking at going to Nashville again this year in January. I at least saw a road goal there unlike my last two trips to Pittsburgh. :help:

Also trying to talk better half into going to Vegas in December. My birthday is the day after the game in early December up there. Found round trip airfare for $137.50 round trip - arrive 4 hours prior to game - leave at 6 a.m. on Monday - no need for hotel, just hang out in casinos!!

They are a great value...great minds...Vegas and Nashville are definitely in order for road trips this year.

Best feature of the upper west side.

Yeah, two years ago I went from row C to row B and almost moved back up because the angle to the media screens was worse :)

What's funny is, even on the occasions that I'm sitting somewhere else, I sometimes instinctively in a split second look up to where those screens are from my usual seats...

Ive been in Row A for 4 of the 5 years.
On the glass.
The next day my neck always hurts so bad I can hardly move it from side to side from looking at the jumbotron.
I can't hear the in house guy at all..I can't hear a single thing he says I think because of the plexiglass or maybe the speaker is directly above me...I can't figure out which.
Its terrible for vision because each shot is blocked by legs and referees...
The best seats are where you CLEAR the plexiglass BUT
You just get addicted. I'll stay where my neck hurts the next day real bad and you can't see anything.
You just get addicted to seeing the faces, hearing the skates and the bodies slamming.
Whenever some other fan sits next to me, wearing the opposing teams jersey, and puts a drink on the railing, I don't tell him to move it.
If the fan sitting next to me has a Yotes sweater on, I give him a friendly warning.

I sat in 109 row C for a few years. Love the atmosphere down there but the view is better higher up. My favorite spot is 111 row T. The sounds from the ice and the passion from the fans in C was fun to be around though.

I like this. Also, you make fair points about sitting on the glass. I once got a Student Rush ticket for the front row. Awesome night, I was happy to have the experience. Not where I would sit on a regular basis, personally.
