Columbus in the first round vs Caps in the year the Caps won the Cup.

Edit : I was wrong about Rangers vs Devils last year. Rangers won first 2 games but didn't lose 2-4 . It went 7 and they lost to the Devils

Colorado vs Vegas in 2021 (the year after Covid). 2nd round.

Colorado won the Presidents tropy that year and swept St. Louis and also won the first 2 games vs Vegas.

Vegas won the next 4 and the series 4-2.

The Bruins seemed really rattled last night when Toronto didn't roll over for them. Some of the quotes coming out of Boston today speak to a nervous room. Saying the right things but it was addressed today.

Toronto wins game 6 they win the series
Boston played a terrible first and were still tied after 1.

The rest of the game was a story of two teams that didn't really do much of anything.

Then a D zone breakdown in OT.

I chose Leafs in 7 but let's be real, it wasn't an impressive win. Nor any indicator for tonight. Both teams have no showed periods/games.

Nothing would surprise me tonight, and a Leafs win just gives us more time to get healthy, both these teams are looking forward to seeing Benny and Lomby out there, no doubt, lol.

If Bruins-Leafs goes to game 7 OT, whoever loses will suffer maybe the most devastating first round loss in history.

Just off the top of my head, in recent history:

- 2010, Washington getting Halak’d caused actual mental trauma to that franchise

- 2019, Tampa getting swept by Columbus was probably the most stunning first-round result in history, and in retrospect likely prevented the Lightning from having the first true 3-Cup dynasty since the 1980s

- 2022, Toronto blowing 3 series leads to lose in the first round for an unbelievable sixth year in a row, preserving a 19-year series drought. The fanbase was inconsolable after that game 7

after 2010, how dare you.

That was a second round series.

Boston just choked a 3-1 series lead after the best regular season in history. That is far far worse, but people seem to give Boston a pass and not give the proper ridicule that deserves.

This is arguably the weakest leafs team in the Matthews era. Plus injuries I don't think many Leafs fans are devastated if we lose, it's kind of expected. Only weak minded fans hold Boston as some unbeatable boogeyman.

Boston with the best odds right now lol but hoping it’s just them. Dallas needs to put Vegas down for all of us and prefer Canucks over Preds.

Far more devastating for the Bruins. Leafs fans have gotten accustomed to game #7/ first round losses.
