Thats tough. Do we assume Fox wants to play with the team that is drafted or not ?

Matthews
Fox
McAvoy
Tkachuk
Thompson
Bratt

I feel bad leaving off the best goalscorer on the list, Patrik Laine. I feel like his career hasn't been the sum of his talent and I feel he should be a lock for top 3. If Fox is playing in NY Id go him or Thompson

Lol, good point. Let's assume Fox will play for whoever drafts him

Bratt over ktachuk?
Yeah. Tkachuk is great and is off to an awesome start in Florida, but I have a strong preference for guys who can transport the puck. Speed kills these days, especially in the playoffs.

Interestingly enough, their 5v5 production has been essentially identical in the last few years, but Bratt has been doing it on a bottom feeder.

You dont agree? Teams passed on Jagr for this too. I dont blame Fox for choosing where he wants to live, power to the people.

There's really people who didn't vote Matthews and Fox? wow HF never cease to amaze... Even McAvoy and Tkachuk are impossible to leave out

Matthews, Fox, McAvoy and Tkachuk is a pretty clear Top-4 IMO

Tage Thomson is also too much of a beast to not make it (and yes late bloomer)

Then you have Bratt, Kyrou, DeBrincat, Laine, etc... another pretty good draft but lacking a bit in quality depth and goalies

Why wow? It’s a legitimate question. He passed through two teams and was clearly only interested in playing for the Rangers if given the option.

It's not important in these re-drafts IMO

We are evaluating the quality of the hockey player.

Matthews Fox and McAvoy should be locks for everyone.

Unrelated but damn what a strong draft for Americans. Add in Tkachuk, Thompson, Keller, and Debrincat too. Right now the consensus top 5 are all American, that's pretty insane.

It's really close at #4. Part of me says it's nonsense not to take Laine, but somehow he just doesn't seem to add as much as he should. That leaves Thompson and Bratt, who are super close. Went with Thompson because I just really like what I see from him, but it's a coinflip.

I think the first 4 are very easy in Matthews, Fox, McAvoy and Tkachuk, then went with Laine at 5 just because I still think he has potential to be a 50 goal scorer.
