I think this year was Marner's coming out party since he was the best Leafs forward in the playoffs and next season he will only get better with his play making ability.
Voracek shouldn't be a wingerVoracek, Wheeler are on the top
I was wondering who would you place in your top 5 for the best playmaker Wingers in the league ?
I would Definitely put Radulov in the top 5, giroux too ( he's a former center so it's kinda biased) , Drouin is known for being solely a playmaker (when he was in tampa), Gaudreau, etc
who would you put ? let's try to keep out the former NHL center like giroux.
note: this is purely about the playmaker skill ( think about NHL18 video game stats ) so vision, pass skills, anticipation, precision.
How can Wheeler - the best one - not be mentioned?
I'd add Kuch but this is pretty much my list as wellWheeler
Voracek
Gaudreau
Marner
Panarin
Kane
Order is interchangeable
I think Taylor Hall deserves a lot more mention in this thread
Hall played maybe a dozen games as centre. And failed miserably while doing so.Hall and Giroux are both former NHL center. doesn't really qualify for it since a good Center will always be a good playmaker
is there a winger right now who has the talent of Joe Thornton playmaker ability ? if we go into the Center zone I still think Joe Thornton is one of the best playmaker who has ever existed.
Probably best Center in the league too.Mich Marner is quite easily the best playmaking winger in the league right now.

Heard he was 4th in Vezina voting as well.Probably best Center in the league too.
