Seventh in a series of polls to determine who wore each sweater number "best" in Avalanche history. Best is open to interpretation and debate, have at it!

Nominations for each number and poll results for #1-#18 can be found in THIS thread.

Largest poll thus far!

Please only one vote per number. Don't hurt my OCD.

There is only 1 #22 for me

Wanted to vote Salei, but Klemm deserves it from an Av perspective

Rycroft of course but could have gone Corbet

I went Rycroft for funsies since I didn't feel like voting for someone who played a million years in Germany. Klemm won both Cups.

I think I liked Konowalchuk more but I had to vote for Lemieux because of what he did for the team.

Marchment, Lemieux and Gratton

(I'd like to vote for Klemm, I even nominated him, but... went with Gratton for the sake of coherency. rofl)

Are people voting for Rycroft because he is an analyst for us or something?

As a hockey player for the Avs, he was terrible. One season of a 4th line plug who scored 6 goals. Rene Corbet had four seasons with us and scored 10+ goals three times. Like, it's not even close.

Can somebody fill me in here on what I'm missing.

Rene Corbet = the nicest hockey player I've ever met

As OneStack said, he's also a MUCH MUCH better player than Rycroft.

Corbet, Lemieux and Klemm.

I always remember Corbet from NHL99. Always scored the clutch goals.

I should have voted Corbet, but I'm hoping to pass on some Rycroft mojo because I want him to take McNab's spot soon on the telecast.

It's the Joker Round with wacky options like Antti Laaksonen.

Yes.

He and Kolesnik are also the only ones I've actually seen, so his broadcasting-related longevity pushes him over the edge.
