Kind of unfair voting. I mean, four of the five options have a window of a couple of decades, players maybe 40 years (assuming O'Reilly will be a staff member of NHL team after he retires), while Avalanche - unless they screw up - will have eternity.
Even if Buffalo Sabres looks good with their future, they are definitely not guaranteed to win anything. See for example the recent history of Tampa Bay Lightning, Washington Capitals, San Jose Sharks, Vancouver Canucks and Philadelphia Flyers. They have all been so promising at some point that it was virtually guaranteed one of them would win.
