I was interested in tracking how much the main components of the Carter & Richards trades have contributed over the past five seasons. So here are their numbers so far:

11-12
Schenn + Simmonds = 67 points in 136 games
Couturier + Voracek = 76 points in 155 games

12-13
Schenn + Simmonds = 58 points in 92 games
Couturier + Voracek = 61 points in 94 games

13-14
Schenn + Simmonds = 101 points in 164 games
Couturier + Voracek = 101 points in 164 games

14-15
Schenn + Simmonds = 97 points in 157 games
Couturier + Voracek = 118 points in 164 games

15-16
Schenn + Simmonds = 119 points in 161 games
Couturier + Voracek = 94 points in 136 games

Total
Schenn = 191 points in 345 games
Simmonds = 251 points in 365 games

Couturier = 157 points in 350 games
Voracek = 293 points in 363 games

I'm going with Voracek + Couturier

Jake will get back to 65 points and Couturier will hit 50 for 115 total

Schenn will hit 60 and Simmonds will be around 50 for a total of 110

Will be a close race.

Schenn and Simmer will definitely score more goals though in my opinion.

Voting against Schenn, because I'm afraid that if I start going easy on the fat slob he'll stop improving like he has been.

Best not to change things up.

I see Voracek as a guy who will average 70ish pts in the next few years. Couturier will average 50. Schenn and Simmonds will both average 60. 120 for each side. Very close.

Still, it's amazing to have these 4 great and still young players on our team. Plus Giroux. In 2-3 years, when our D is set, we'll be rock solid.

I'm thinking Voracek hits 70+ again next year. He still hit 55 points in 73 games this year while having an up & down season on top of having the worst shooting percentage of his career to this point (5.2%, previous worst was 7.7% with Columbus in his third year in the league). I think having the World Cup this year to shake off the rust before the NHL year starts will have him flying out of the gate next year for the Flyers.

So I went with him & Couturier but it will probably be close between the two pairs.

I see Schenn and Simmer as 50-60 pt players next season, Couts I think will approach if not reach 50 and Jake returning to form as a 70 pt player. This is all assuming everyone stays healthy obviously. If I had to pick a pair I'd go with Couturier and Jake but it'd be close.

Really good poll. It's incredibly close, but I'm more willing to bet on a bounceback season from Voracek than any of the other options.

I hope Couturier isn't saddled with the shutdown role in future seasons as much as he has been to this point, but that and the fact that Schenn and Simmonds are both on PP1 make me give the edge to them.

I expect Simmonds & Schenn to be around 60 and Jake to be around 70, but I don't think Couturier cracks 50 unless he is used differently.

Will be close barring injuries , but I like Schenn Simmer for 120 ( 60 each) and Jake Couts in the 115 range.

Couts was on pace for 51 points this year and still had those defensive responsibilities. He also had Raffl and Gagner as his wingers for a long stretch. A healthy Voracek will help more.

He has been over a 60 point pace since November.

Injuries didn't help this year, but I'd like to see him pass 40 before I'm confident in saying he'll beat 50.

It probably bugs me a lot more than it should, but seeing Couts get stuck on 39, 37, and 39 points the last 3 seasons is super annoying. Gives me blue balls.

Well Couts actually had substantially more ozone starts this year then the previous two. And while he played a lot with Raffl, Read and Gagner he played plenty with guys like Jake, Schenn and Simmonds as well. He really didn't have those types of line mates in past seasons, if this continues and he can stay healthy I'm optimistic he'll crack 50 soon.

Btw, Schenn had 44 pts in his final 46 games. That's a 78 pt pace but nobody in their right mind expects him to do that over a full season, not really far to hold Couts to those numbers either.

He got to 39 points in 62 games. He finished at 39 in 63. Give 19 more games and I think he definitely hits 50, at the pace he was playing.

I have to believe that Voracek hits 70 again next season. Couturier will probably get close to 50. Schenn and Simmonds are likely 60 point players each, so it will be very close

Voracek- 67
Schenn - 61
Simmonds - 56
Couturier - 49

Voracek and Couturier - 116
Schenn and Simmonds - 117

My gut was to vote Jake and Coots but I made my individual player predictions before voting and I guess I was wrong but obviously I think it will be very close.
