Who WILL BE the forwards on Team Canada at the Olympics?

Keep in mind that this is asking who WILL BE the forwards, not who SHOULD BE the forwards. There is a big difference, and I want to know who WILL BE the forwards for Team Canada at the Olympics.

You are to pick 6 players.

This accounts for the fact that the following 7 players are absolute locks: Sakic, Iginla, Heatley, Gagne, Thornton, Lecavalier, and Richards.

Who WILL BE the last 6 forwards picked?

Bertuzzi is in. His play of late has picked up, and Gretzky has made no secret he wants the power forward on the team. Showed good chemistry with Richards at summer camp.

St. Louis is in. Previous World Cup experience plays in his favor. Tampa is rolling now. Showed good chemistry with Draper and Lecavalier at summer camp.

Draper's on the team as the defensive specialist.

Smyth is on the team. Years of international experience and the fact that Canada will go with two grinders. Him and Doan.

Doan is there. Should make space for a playmaking center and a sniping winger.

Nash is on this team. And if he can't play due to injury, it creates competition for his spot. Awesome chemistry with Gagne and Thronton.

Honourable mention: Crosby. Gretzky knows exactly what it means to be a special talent like Sid.

Marleau was on the World Cup team and looked terrible IMO. He has the ability to be a dominant player, but is too inconsistent to steal a spot from more proven players.

Will someday Ethan Moreau steal the Canadian Grinder spot to Draper?

Moreau > Draper. But Draper was on the team last time so it'll be tough to get him off the team regardless of how poorly he's played this year.

I don't understand why Drapper would be on the team. He's playing on one of the best teams in the league and yet he has 5 or 6 points and is a minus player. I'd hate so see someone like Spezza, Staal, or Crosby lose their spot to him.

I agree completely but there are those people out there with the mentality that Canada needs to bring a "checking" center. IMO we should just roll 4 offensive lines and use our talent to outscore everyone.

Amen

But in that case.. Will they choose centers to play the wing like Lecavalier and Marleau? Is that using real talent? Of they'll chose real wingers like Bertuzzi, Kariya? What's better talent-wise?
