For one thing, I think the first choice forward pairing should be Plekanec and Pacioretty. I know someone will use Pacioretty's quotes to tell me that it's a crime to separate Desharnais and Pacioretty for even a shift, but this has nothing to do with Desharnais' 5 on 5 merits, but when it comes to 4 on 4 it's probably a good idea to have our two best posession driving forwards together. Both are fast, both can play in all three zones with and without the puck, both can shoot the damn puck.

For the defense, first choice should be Subban and whoever. As long as Subban is out there.

Habs aren't good on 4 on 4.

I would put fast skaters.....better to comeback to help the defence, can use the space on the ice.

Plekanec, Eller, Galchenyuk, Bourque, Pacioretty, Gallagher, Subban....would be my got-to-guys!
