I'm asking who is the best Sabre all-time whose last name started with the letter "G"? This is for their time with the Sabres, and I'm arbitrarily selecting a 75 game minimum as a Sabre.

Remember, this is all-time and includes every season since the beginning of the franchise - not just the recent ones.

Of course, I'll run through the rest of the alphabet up until the regular season starts.

Results so far:

A: Dave Andreychuk 91.2%
B: Danny Briere 73.1%
C: Brian Campbell 50.6%
D: Rasmus Dahlin 66.3%
E: Jack Eichel 48.1%
F: Mike Foligno 93.2%

Let the voting begin!

A lot of players I enjoyed watching and cheering for, but only answer here.

What you thought I was going to vote for Girgensons? I mean who would have thought that when I made my Avatar back in 2013, I'd disappear from the boards for ten years, come back and he'd still be on the team.

But yeah, Gare.

I think the better question for this letter is which trade involving "G" players was better:

Grosek for Gilmour and Dumont
Gratton + 4th for Briere + 3rd (Sekera)
Klepis for Grier

Gaustad + 4th for a 1st (used to trade up for Girgensons) gets an honorable mention.

No mention of Gare + Schoenfeld + Smith for Foligno + McCourt + Peterson? In terms of size and significance it has to be a top three trade in Sabres history. Traded a current captain and a past captain for a future captain.

I considered it, but it's not the absolute fleecing those other deals were.

I'm just shocked I don't even remember John Gould considering he had two stints with the Sabres and played over 500 NHL games.

This is the poll for "G", not "O". :teach2:
