I'm asking who is the best Sabre all-time whose last name started with the letter "B"? This is for their time with the Sabres, and I'm arbitrarily selecting a 75 game minimum as a Sabre. 50 was too low and 75 should represent a full season even with a bit of an injury - or a goalie after a couple of years.

Of course, I'll run through the rest of the alphabet, up until the regular season starts.

Results so far:

A: Dave Andreychuk 91.2%

Let the voting begin!
Cool idea on doing this with the alphabet 👍

Ahh...Barrasso was good in Buffalo but he didn't reach another level until afterward. Not necessarily his fault, but as a Sabre he wasn't the best "B".

His Vezina win was in Buffalo, and he finished 2nd twice. He was also thrice top 10 Hart voting while here. He didn't win back to back cups with Pittsburgh because he played better there, he was behind a fantastic team.

Barrasso was head and shoulders (and head and shoulders above) better than Briere. He also played more games in Buffalo than Briere did.

Voted Briere. Barrasso had a solid regular season resume for his five seasons in Buffalo, but his playoff record with the Sabres is pretty bad.

I said it was not necessarily his fault because Pitt was a better team. I still think Briere was better but who cares...it's just an opinion poll.
