Can Neely

He had 13 years, although at least a couple were almost drained to injuries. That isn't too bad, he's pretty much at the same level as Lafontaine and Bill Barber for length of career, not to mention Lemaire.

Orr had 10 pretty much, Bossy had exactly 10.

Others pnep didnt have for some reason were Bobby Bauer (7) and Kenny Reardon (7). Although he may have counted the years they were in WWII. But in total this was all the seasons they played in

pnep's list only includes years of professional service. Davidson (he was the first name that came to mind) had, I believe, two years of amateur play before turning pro. But he was viewed by many as the best player in the world during his two pro seasons.

Some of the early HHOFers never turned pro, like Dubie Bowie or Hobey Baker.

.... And it also counts gaps between seasons, as opposed to seasons. Technically, Reardon's career spanned longer than Drillon's, but they did play the exact number of seasons.

Actually, I tought that amongst modern players, the one with the shortest career was Drillon, but it seems he had one more season than I expected.
