17 games left..

Connor McDavid - On pace for 115 points (78GP 42G 73A)
Leon Draisaitl - On pace for 102 points (82GP 50G 52A)
Ryan Nugent-Hopkins - On pace for 71 points (82GP 25G 46A)

For poll options let's say 115 points for McDavid, 50 goals for Draisaitl, 100 points for Draisaitl, 70 points for RNH and a bonus

I'll say Currie. 5 goals, 7 apples.

Lol you have a 115 point scorer in just 77 games, another 50 goal man with 100 points and another hitting 71 points and your 5 points out of a playoff spot....wtf is the rest of the team doing ?

Thank god for Currie.

I'd bet Nuge doesn't hit 71 pts, or 70.. That's like automatic for me to win. The last 10GP he has 4pts. The last 5 GP he has only 1 pt, and it was that bogus goal on a goalie interference play in garbage time when we were losing 6-1 to the Leafs. Completely checked out player. Might not hit 65pts.

I don't really know what to vote in the poll though. Things are never as good, or as bad as they seem and although Leon is hot now does he remain so? That said he's been hot pretty much contiguously since December 6.

McDavid, Nuge, and Reider should hit those marks. I think Draisaitl will cool off and miss both, but I'll be happy if he proves me wrong.

Beside my neighbor..
Tobias Rieder. 74 shots, only needs 11 shots on goal to break an NHL record..
Most shots without a goal..
Craig Adams: 84 shots in 82 games with the 2010 Penguins...

Make us proud...

Drai has 24 goals in the past 30 games, during which the Oilers have sucked. He seems quite able to put up big goal-numbers even when the team is losing. So, he needs 10 in 17 to hit the magic 50, which ain't easy, but for 30 games now he's been ahead of that pace. So, a real chance!

By the way, the last Oiler to have a 50-goal season was snoozefest commentator Craig Simpson, who scored 56 in 1987-88 (Gretzky was still captain). But of his 56 goals that season, only 43 were with Edmonton. So, really, the last time an Oiler scored 50 goals was Gretzky and Kurri in 1987 (!).
