Nice to see Vlad with some love. He will Calgary's back up to Markstrom.

Not surprised by the results. Always loved a healthy Kase however that health thing is a very big concern/risk in Toronto.

Ritchie looks like he lost a fair bit of weight during the off-season. You could tell when he was being interviewed yesterday the fat chubby face is gone. He looked quicker last night than he did at any point last season.

To be fair, he did that last summer too. Wouldn't it suck, though, if getting released by the Bruins was the thing that catalyzed his attitude and he has a breakout season and solid career for Leafs.

He's got to keep it off as the season progresses. That's the harder part IMO. Easy to slip back into bad habits on the road and having less of a routine. We saw that first hand.

Didn’t we say the same exact thing last year? Probably just an illusion.

Hard to answer due to what is considered *most success*

For Kase success would be making it through a whole season
Ritchie - Heinen ---20 goals
Kuraly - being a sold PKer and 8+goals
Lauzon - solid defender, PKer
Vladar - different standards

If all played the same position and were the same type of players, it's much easier to come up with a standard to measure them by

So going by what I would consider the biggest success, would easily be Kase making it through a season without another head injury and being forced to retire

All meh players however just curious who has a good year in the role they're expected to play in 2021/2022?

2020/2021 players only - Vladar, Lauzon, Kuraly, Ritchie, Halak, or Kase?

Excluded Krejci and Rask.

Ritchie!

I go with vlad just because I do think he is an nhl caliber goalie. He only got traded because the bruins felt swayman was better.
