I was thinking the other day about Team Canada in 2005, when the team had Crosby etc.

Well since that was 2 years of players in the pool, i was wondering if any good NHLer's got cut from that team that would've made it had Crosby, Richards etc. not been there.

    Anyone?

Crosby was 17 at the time. He would have been on the team regardless.

Getzlaf, Carter and Phaneuf were probably been the 3 guys who would have been in the NHL, along with Bergeron

Eric Fehr getting cut being in his senior year as an 18th overall pick can't be that common.

Scott Glennie (8th in 2009) and Peter Holland (15th in 2009) weren't even invited to Team Canada's camp this year. As I grumble quietly about having them in my keeper pool.
