He and Simmer make more sense than Coburn who would only get it for being the longest tenured Flyer.

I think they'll do the home and away "A" thing for alternates like they did a couple years back when Briere was here. Something like this...

C- Giroux
A- Timonen
A- Coburn (home)
A- Simmonds (away)

Simmonds received the A when Hartsy was out and Coburn has worn it at times, so probably one of them will get it. My vote goes to Simmer.

Or like someone else mentioned, they may do a home and away A

I agree it will probably be simmonds, but at some point in the future I want to see couturier wear an a. Maybe if coburn gets traded if the kids make him useless
