Luckily for you, my post comes below yours.i'll choose 90% of any of the above 70's list over any top 10 list from each decade from 1990-2023.
After a long time, I recently listened to Bitches Brew (recorded in '69, but came out in '70); every song has devastating parts, but as a whole, I think it's a somewhat tough listen. A flawed masterpiece might be a kind way to put it. "Spanish Key" and "Miles Runs the Voodoo Down" are the best songs IMO.Miles Davis
I think Wings are underrated. They had at least a dozen songs that are good. I can't list my top 10 songs, there are too many to choose from, but here are ten I like.... wings ...
Sketches of Spain is 60s, but yeah, I really like that one too. After a long time, I recently listened to Bitches Brew (recorded in '69, but came out in '70); every song has devastating parts, but as a whole, I think it's a somewhat tough listen. Overall, I'm not so high on jazz fusion, but I do like also In a Silent Way and Jack Johnson. Still, his collaboration with Gil Evans is my favourite Miles, especially Sketches of Spain.
What do people think of Weather Report? I listened to Heavy Weather once and sort of liked it, but it didn't blow me away. Maybe I should give it another listen; Joe Zawinul was a talented composer.

1. What's going on - Gaye
2. Heroes - Bowie
3. Redemption song - Marley
4. Father and son - Cat
5. Wish you were here - Floyd.
6. Free bird - LS
7. London calling - Clash - Released in the UK in December 1979
8. Marquee moon - TV
9. Stairway to heaven - LZ
10. Man in black - Cash
I wonder if you also happen to like Britpop bands like UB40 and Def Leppard? The band the Beatles could have been.
If you can. That's why I have artists like Stevie Wonder and the Stones in my top 10. If you can't, that's cool. Are we just basing it on just their 70s material?
I like most of your list. Cheap Trick is underrated and early Van Halen is simply great. In the following order:
... Cheap Trick
Van Halen (only released two albums that decade but both great. Especially the debut).
Judas Priest (although I overall prefer their 80s run from British Steel to Turbo more).
Led Zeppelin
Black Sabbath ...
Blue Oyster Cult
Aerosmith
Can't make a decision on the 10th choice (The Cars, Blondie, Thin Lizzy, Deep Purple, AC/DC, ... CCR all jostling for that final place).
I know, but I was talking about Miles Davis (and his work with Gil Evans) also generally; most of their collaboration was 1948—63, but I believe Evans wrote or at least co-wrote/arranged some of the later stuff too (like "Mademoiselle Mabry" which is based on Hendrix's "Wind Cries Mary").Sketches of Spain is 60s
