Maybe that Florida can sneak in and take a spot.

This would be perfect if possible lol...

Penguins are in the metro

I'm going with...

Metro
Jackets
Caps
Rangers

Atlantic
Tampa
Montreal
Detroit

WC
M - Isles
A - Panthers

I know it's unlikely the Pens don't make it, I just don't think they'll be nearly as good as people expect. They're sorta like the 13 Rays. Awesome on paper, but how will they be on the ice?

Another jinx thread. Not only won't we make it the Final, now we won't even make the playoffs!

I think Columbus will surprise a lot of people, they we're plagued with injuries last year, if healthy they should make some noise in the East

Random thoughts and predictions:
I hated listing the Rangers last in the Metro because they've been underestimated for, what, two years in a row now? Still, they kind of stood pat while everyone else loaded up. Vigneault and Lundqvist drag them in.

Montreal had a near-perfect regular season last year, but a critical piece or pieces get injured (see: Columbus this past season). I think they squeak in over Ottawa and Boston.

Pittsburgh scores the most goals and MAF continues in his game-thieving ways behind a shaky defense. Olli Maatta has a decent-not-great year.

Something doesn't work with NYI and I think it will revolve around Halak (either underperformance or injury).

Then Detroit instead of Pens there, I blame the early morning!
