I have two signatures, long story short, not sure who they are, but the other signatures gotten with them was Yashin and Rhodes, so we're looking at between 95-96 to 98-99 (when Rhodes left)...although with that said, the sigs may have been gotten at another time.

In any event, here there are, and who I think they belong to, just wondering if anyone has any thoughts.

1. Radek Bonk?

2. Pavol Demitra?

I think its pretty safe to say the first one is bonk the second one looks like Demitra but it seems unlikely since the examples show no connection between the number and name and usually the last scribbles tails under the number

i don't think the second is demitra, it's not consistent with the other 2 but doesn't mean it's not especially if you where there.

First off, I appreciate the feedback!

Demitra typical wore #78, i think the second card is just like how Alfie wore #63, or Spezza wore #39 for a short span of time in their rookie years. His number was later 38 in St. Louis, which it looks like he signed in the 2nd card...

With that said, his positioning of his number in his autos is consistent, but there are the obvious inconsistencies.

Minus no jersey number, I think this one I just found is the as close as I have seen. Still not 100%, if its not Pavol Demitra, its gotta someone with a 'P' or "R' as the first letter of their first name.

got them from a childhood friend who no longer follows hockey and just wanted to get rid of them.

Well I think this covers basically your entire set of choices in that time frame with an R or a P in their name, including last names just in case their signature doesn't incorporate their first name.

In case anyone else was wondering, "Phil Von" is actually Phil Von Stefenelli.

If you look closely at the second puck its actually a 3 and not a 2. Could be 31, Ron Tugnutt? Either that or its Pavol Demitra Im guessing..

Alternatively it could mean #3 overall for Radek Bonk. Maybe he signed it shortly after getting drafted, could also explain why the beginning of the signatures are different while the last part is the same. He might have changed his R to a single stroke later in his career.

Ok cool was only asking as that story makes me believe it is an autograph.

I have a lot of autographed sports memorabilia, I will say on a pucks specifically I always see sloppier and shorter autographs.

My next question would be do you know where he got them? Could be a prospect autograph?

I only suspect it's not Demitra because the first letter is not consistent with every example on google images.does not mean it isn't his, just that I would think a pro authenticator would have trouble with the same comparisons I'm looking at. However they would have better comparisons and would likely know variations.

That P reminds me of someone else's let me look in my collection.

... it's possible that it's the sloppiest Ron Tugnutt signature of all time. It's definitely a closer match than anything I've seen so far.

It could be Tugnutt's auto'g after like 6 or 7 drinks, haha.

Haha it was a stretch, although Tuger was famous for his post game Jagerbombs. Also could be that signing cards is easier than pucks? The letters and curves of the signature do link up.

Second one is probably Bonk as well, look at how they both end in that same loop that is attached to an L-shaped structure. Of course that wouldn't explain the 2.

See that was partly my edited out thought, except maybe it was two different signatures on there...

But I think the 'R' first half still runs directly into the part that looks like Bonk's signature, so probably was the same hand all the way through.

Of the signatures presented though, Tuggers does look most similar though I'd agree.

Thanks again everyone in continuing to help me solve this lol.

My friend said he got them all signed at the same time at a Sens carnival thingy

Agree, that first number could be either a 2, a 3 or a 7

That is so bizarre....Radek's R looks like a P, while Pavol's P looks like an R.

Also agree. My thought was for the first letter, it could be 'Pa' which would fit with Pavol Demitra.

No prob. Agree, i've noticed that too in my collecting signed pucks in person.
It was signed at a Sens carnival/Sensfest, and back than they were midway thru the season, so I don't think it would be a guy that never played a game (don't recall the AHL guys being at those things, but could be wrong).
The first letter does give me trouble too...

Here are two more images of the sig

If only they brought back that carnival was such an amazing thing. Mystery boxes were the greatest thing ever. My dad used to buy like 10-20 every year.
